Boxing Day

So went to win's place this aftn. liewy  picked us at holland yay.
anw. ya wins cooked us steak yay. it was nice. and we watched battleship in the mean time haha reminds me of bangkok with nicole. anw. afar that liewy ghims and i went to ARC and had 3 red velvet cake hahaha. then we went to vivo and liewy and i caught 'Haute cuisine' which was not bad. We went to max brenner's before that and wanted to eat churros!! but they were sold out SIGH. we ended up with a chocolate pizza or smth which was just alright. then we drove to tiong and then back to sixth ave tea party. had carbonara and we chatted it was pretty good. and well that's my whole day hahahahah. just spent with liewy and chatting fun :)
and liewy got me pyjamas!! AHAHHAHA.

Christmas Eve

I spent it chilling at home. Reading 'The Kite Runner' which I found really good. Beyond the simple things of settings and characters, the author describes the surroundings really well, allow me to paint the picture in my mind. I really like his descriptions, vivid and enough. And it's so sad.. I actually cried at some points. And the last page too.
Yup I spent the whole day reading and sat in my comfy chair with a pot of peppermint tea :)

Existense

I felt too crazy for myself to handle.

So, had a bad sleep last night due to cramps again. zzzz. slept around 3 plus I think, when I went to bed at 12.30??? woke at around 10 ish 11. Rolled in bed, woke up and ate lunch, and did nth else then went out around 2? Met wins at coro bux and chilled. I really enjoyed it. Redeemed my free drink and split a vent, so we got a tall cup each. and then just read my book. i finished the book, but i'm so disappointed.
wins just read his kindle and drew for a bit then bux got crowded coz there was a free drink thing. then we slacked, went to play with the swing then went home. i liked tdy. pretty relaxing. anw I've got my eyes on some film camera….. HMMM. dk what to do. haha.

book review of The solitude of prime numbers.
so i was really disappointed. because the title was misleading for me. i thought it be some romantic story modelling the title. it did attempt to do so, but the focus wasn't very much on that. and i didn't like the ending. and i wished there were more mathematical insight, but that's just me coz imma be a mathematician. but i did like how the guy is a mathematician and brilliant, but i think the guy could have been weirder. and the girl… i liked that she was into photography coz I'm into that right now. just that i don't like the ending. reminds me of the marriage plot by jeffrey eugenides. very much similar. also.. who does the author think he is…?? i mean just because you're pursuing a doctorate in particles doesn't mean you can write an enjoyable-to-me book?! ok just being a sour grape, but that was really the first thought that came to my mind. because i always see book writing as smth really difficult. and well. this book did disappointed me. hahaha.
