then in busan. i stayed at some cube guesthouse near busan station.
so not worth it. considering next day's accommodation **lol**. anw the guesthouse didn't feel too clean to me. the other guests were terrible also. i booked a bed in 6 bed female dorm.. the other 5 beds all same group one. and they damn noisy wth. super early talk damn loud and on the light. inconsiderate much. sighs. anw. cheap but not nice leh. anw i got in busan at night so just quick sleep.
next morning, i went to buy tickets at the busan port place.
ok idk why there are websites and signboards indicating busan international passenger terminal is at Jungang station? i don't think so eh. hmm. anw.
How to get to busan port from Busan station
go to exit 8. walked out follow the sign go down the stairs. then you'll see a carpark. walk through the carpark. then cross the traffic light you see on the right, across the really huge road. like really wide road. each traffic direction got 4 or 5 lanes?? ok then walk straight, follow the brown sign. then you'll see a huge building on the diagonal left. that's the building. i bought tickets at departure level, for 166400 won. ok feeling kinda tired already and there's still so much more to update SIGH i'm not gonna do it now.
BUT WORD OF ADVICE
IF YOU WNA GO TO TSUSHIMA. JUST STAY ONE NIGHT. IF NOT YOU'LL BE BORED LIKE HELL. UNLESS YOU WNA GO TREKKING ETC OR YOU CAN RENT A CAR.
BUT IF YOU SOLO LIKE ME AND NO INTERNATIONAL DRIVING LICENSE AND SOLO GIRL MAYBE NOT SO FIT MAYBE TREKKING WILL DIE THEN IDK WHAT I CAN DO MAN I'M SO BORED.

i was in Daegu for 2 days. the first i stayed at airbnb. some guy called Minjong with adorable cat!!! but a bit messed up coz his gf came in at like 2 am crying??? i sleeping i freaked out wth.
next day shifted to a motel, which was real nice. went to seomun market ITS REALLY BIG!! and walked to Dalseong park. this park is nice!! not a lot of people, and really huge park. there' like a zoo inside. and it's all free. and the animals inside are not lame ass ones, but like tiger elephant lions wolves etc real cool.
then went to pick claudia at DongDaegu. then decided to head to the downtown area of Daegu, near Daegu station, around jungang-no or smth i can't rmb. quite happening. and we shared jjimdak!! omg it's quite nice??? then we walked around. found this macaron shop which sold one for 900Won. that's like SGD1++ for one?? real cheap so we bought some hahah and oh we bought cheap bbt also. real nice talking to her after so long. she's my jc og mate. but we can still click i'm real surprised and glad. hahaha. then went back to motel and sleep. super big place!! anw. next day, our plan was to head to mt apsan observatory and few other places. so we checked out and i dumped my big haversack at DongDaegu KTX station. there's lockers there. it's 4000won? idk for how long, but totes worth it. idw to lug my bag around. we then bought our respective tix... but bad choice **LOL**
we went to mt apsan and climbed up. took quite long coz slippery with snow/ice. she wearing sneakers sure gone. then we took even longer to come down. real bad. super tiring. damn shit. sighs. it was really quite tiring. then we took bus to head back to DongDaegu to catch our transport.. but due to traffic jam..... she couldn't make it for 6pm. sighs. she missed her bus we all emo. then she just grabbed another bus 8pm. i boarded my mugunghwa train to busan, 7500won.
SO ACTUALLY
the cheapest way from busan to seoul is....
seoul - Daegu : 17200 won, 2.5 hour
daegu - busan : 7500 won, 1.5 hour
total duration: 4
length wise comparable to mugunghwa, but cost is about.. 4000won cheaper if i'm not wrong.
quick update first.

how to get to Daegu by bus from Dongseoul Terminal.
currently in daegu.
travelled here by bus. 3.5 hours.
as the title suggests.. here goes.
ok go to Dong Seoul Terminal, Gangbyeon station green line.
then follow the sign, get out. (or after you tap out, turn left)
then you'll see a huge white building across the street, that's the terminal. cross the traffic light.
go in.
go up.
go to the counter and buy your ticket. there's two type, regular and the better than regular *LOL*
17200 and 24000+
i got the regular one.
about 5-10 min before bus departure time, get out. the way to the platform is also on the second floor, just beside the counter where you buy tickets. follow the sign.
go down, turn right.
look for the platform, there are signs indicating destination.
board the bus.
scan the blue part of the ticket.
find your seat.
*LOL*
i'm writing this because i couldn't find any blog/related information for noobs like me. so... hopefully this is clear enough.
also, daegu has a few terminals apparently. i bought the tix to hanjin terminal, at dongdaegu station. the bus will stop at another stop, before hanjin. so total, there's 2 stops. get it.

this are timings of buses from Dong seoul to hanjin (Dong Daegu)
(because i can't find it. or rather, it's all in korean and i don't understand. most left column is departing time from dong seoul, followed by arrival time. most right is price)
what the ticket looks like. scan the blue part.
"I am living" moments
today i had 2 such "I am living" moments. what do i mean? these are moments where i am so aware of everything around me, and can feel them all so strongly, and i'm not feeling anything else, but my present surroundings so strong and clear.
1.
on the bus to Daegu, reclining in the seat. comfortable in my wooly dress, got my heel on the ledge. listening to Will Reagan, digesting "What's so amazing about Grace?" by Phillip Yancey. (it's really a good read btw. i'm very surprised it's not boring. *LOL* perhaps the style of writing, it's very... seemingly scientific to me, so i enjoy it) Got a good view of the mountains, clear blue sky. And I knew that God was there. and it hit me so strong, that the gospel is about grace, and idk if we are, but i really should be sharing the message of grace. more than that, should be living, accepting, exuding grace. and as i looked at the vast sky, it's humbling to know i am so small, travelling somewhere random in a bus speeding down the highway, but i am so important to God, that he'd avail grace to me.
2.
steam rises from the bowl of katsu udon. i felt not like anybody. because i was in a random cafe somewhere random in a random part of korea. not even somewhere known like seoul. **lol**. just... really interesting. how did i end up in the cafe *LOL* but it was really interesting. maybe i was so cold that the bowl of udon warmed me up Haha

ytd my fam flew, i took train to my apartment in jamsil.
airbnb host is nice and we had a nice chat. walked around for a bit, had dinner and nua. didn't sleep too well.
tdy, met sam, it was fun. i enjoyed catching up with him, and encouraging him. he's going to church permanently and prays a lot, happy and glad for him. though he's in a trying time right now. anw. then he brought me around his school, i think very nice. but the interior not nice *lol*. anw. then we had bingsu because we didn't know where to go. we chilled there for a long time. then we had pizza for dinner. damn nice leh. maybe too much korean food? but it was really nice, and cheap. then we decided to head to gangnam to go to a jjimjilbang. it was fun, then his cell group friends joined us for a bit, very interesting to talk to them. max joined us first, and it was fun we talked for long time, so interesting to learn about korea/US/what he thought. then a few more joined us after that. one of them reminded me of Lei, the way he spoke. look a little alike also **LOL**. so interesting.......
sam also told me many stuff about korea culture. interesting much....
i'm quite lazy to blog coz i'm lying on my front and tiring to type
google suneung
it's damn sick?? the korean equivalent of a levels. rly crazy.

last two days, after getting back from Busan. idk if we had any plans *lol* but my bro planned it. ok anw. we found a super famous ginseng chicken soup shop near our place and it's super amazing. super yummy. and expensive too duh. not that expensive la. 15000 won. but the q is wow. we queued anw, because the shop gave us face mask HAHAH. i think to bribe ppl to queue **LOL**. idk. but anw the q was surpassingly fast for its length. like rly fast. i think maybe 15 min only.
look its sooooo yummy there' like a whole mini ginseng in the chicken. yummy.
the deco on the wall. very pretty it's like double japanese waves omg so pretty.
then we went to ewha again. **lol**. boring. photos mandatory.
anw i saw these two boys playing SO CUTE OMGOMG OMG. anw the older boy kept trying to climb onto the statue (yes the signs says please do not touch), and he couldn't climb up. so he kept yelling for his mother to help him (she sitting at nearby cafe) hahah i stare/laugh at him very long *lol* and i figured i not strong enough to carry him so i call my bro to go and carry him. the boy very happy HAHA. then we took a photo. SO CUTE. but we couldn't converse lolol we asked him omma where he said dk what and his dad is at home *lol* so cute omg.
ewha shopping area. it's cheaper to shop here really. my bro got a few shirts.
interesting architect near the area.
some random photo i don't even rmb
we bought this huge box of strawbs for like 7000 won thats less than $9 anw it was SO HUGE AND SO AMAZING AND SO YUMMY ok not like crazy sweet but sweet enough.
next day, no plans. last full day in korea for my fam. we just walked along seocheon idk la near our place also. i saw this two kid. the older boy piggybacked his younger sister, but the older boy is so young also!

The Scarlet Letter, Nathaniel Hawthorne
Ok, i finished this before flying.
Anw, it's interesting story plot, but not so interesting type of english. old english. i think. idk. but here's smth interesting: "methinks" is a word! and it means.. me thinks *LOL*
yeah interesting story plot. i didn't imagine the adulterer to be the ..... ok read yourself.
quite nice. not much other comments *lol* a bit unrealistic also.
hmmm i remember there were some interesting parts which reminded me of current times. but i cannot remember. oh wells.

Slow Man, J.M. Coetzee
currently blogging from my airbnb apartment. rly tiny but cozy. lovely host hehe. ok more on that later or smth.
so on this trip, i finished Slow Man by J.M. Coetzee.
his writing style reminds me of Nicole Krauss, but more... difficult words **LOL**. Nicole Krauss is more simple. Doesn't mean what she's writing is simple though. It means she uses the language simply.
Anw. i quite liked the book, just a somewhat decent read. i wouldn't say it's VERY interesting, but decent enough that i want to finish it.
I think i mostly enjoyed it because there are some underlined sentences and that's very insightful to the thoughts of the previous owner aka Lei. very interesting to see which he likes etc. i've also underlined my own words etc. fun fun fun

updated: busan post
trying to get some uploading done, but the internet is WEAKsauce. zzzz
currently 1.44am. omg it can't even save this post... wifi pls.
anw. ytd we went to busan, and back tdy. ok quick words before sleep and before i forget.
we took ktx to busan, at around... 1.30pm we reached. 2.5 hours train right. slept.
then went to apartment, really nice really far **LOL** we still had to take train from Busan station to the apartment station, like almost an hour subway. wth. very far.
i got a video of apartment. then we went to.. some temple. had a quick meal downstairs, and took a taxi to yonggungsa temple, only coz it's situated on a cliffside or smth. and is highly rated on the to-dos in Busan. quite decent seaside view IMO. then we waited forever for a taxi in the rain, and eventually grabbed one to Lotte Premium outlets in Busan which was real boring. i thought the adidas there was much cheaper, for shoes etc. but not v nice to me. then we grabbed another cab to shinsegae, apparently the world's biggest department store. saw a really dope christmas tree HAHA. made of lightsabers!!!! they having some star wars exhibition. then we went to spaland WHICH IS LUXURIOUS AND AMZING bathhouse. super good. i highly recommend. ok it's rly very luxurious *lol* just go google. i think the price is decent too. the massage chair is decent. but somehow.... i prefer the first jjimjilbang we went to. it's more homely, that one. near our apartment. probably coz we went pretty late on a tuesday night i think? bout 7/8pm. not much ppl at all, quite chill. i like it. and the rice punch was served better and nicer in that plastic cup with blue cap and straw. very nice there omg. spaland just serves you a bottled version.... not nice. then we cabbed back to apartment to eat An-Ga, apparently the best pork bbq in the area or smth. it's like.. just across the street from our apartment. (btw apartment found on airbnb, frank's loft or smth *lol* you can google it, near jung-dung station or smth) so we ate there, and it was amaazing too!! price not cheap but not too expensive either. 100g 9900 won i think. 100g is like... less than one keyboard length of meat. **lol**. coz we did'n't know how much 100g was. very yummy, very good service as well. because we were so clueless the waitress cooked for us. very yummy. afterwards, headed to e-mart for a quick walk (e-mart is beside the apartment as well). saw asics sneakers going for ~50000won and could'n't decide to get or not hmmmm. but didn't might be a big ragret man. we got some cheese ice cream, WHICH IS NICE.
next day...
went to eat some 4 generations pancake, not too bad but expensive.
went to gamcheon cultural village very pretty and chilled there too at a nice cafe called the plate.
went to busan station to buy train tix.
went to some shop to have some AMZING DOUBLE PORK SOUP wah rly best meal in busan. super good. we googled the place. had some bingsu at Korean Dessert Cafe after that.
went to jalgachi station to visit BIFF square (which is shit coz really like China), gukje market (which is pretty much closed by this time (7pm)), jalgachi fish market, nampo underground shopping, yeongdo bridge, and then cabbed back to busan station just in time for our train.

very tired, but busan is fun i love the yellowed trees so gorgeous so autumns but the winds here are no joke, but i guess that's coz it's kinda like a coastal city. busan isn't very big. maybe like Hong Kong? actually smaller imo. idk google. but the winds really!!! it spoilt our umbrellas yesterday and buy spoil i meant it broke the metal HAHA
