when my parents came over

our first time eating hifumi, omggggg. so good. abura soba is amazing wow. i miss it now. hifumi is like the bestttttttt.

tanabata deco, because it was the weekend of Tohoku Kizuna festival. my parents came on the right weekend **lol**. it was june 18-19 that weekend. 

we bought a loopel day pass, i think it's useful. but the loople bus ends around 4ish so....

anw. we got the loople, because we can go up sendai castle, and go around aobayama and kawauchi campus, so pretty worth it.

my first gyutan meal, and with my folks. it was pretty good. i like it. cost 1400Y for a 3 slice meal.

took loople up to aoba castle. my first time up actually, and there wasn't much there *lol*.

nice rightttttttt. famous guy of sendai, date masamune. you'll see him everywhere.

then i brought them to hifumi for abura soba **lol**. and then we headed back early to rest.

next day, headed to shiogama for sushi. i found it on japantravel, a review of shiogamakou kaiten sushi. it's really fresh for that price, so pretty good. few minutes walk from shiogama station.

we arrived around 12, and had to wait pretty long. granted, it was a sunday. they only just opened at 11am tho.. but anw, if the locals are queuing for it, it must be good. queued for 45 minutes i think. 

walked to some station to take a train to hon-shiogama. and we bought tickets for the basho cruise to matsushima, at hon-shiogama station counter. i think it's slightly cheaper if i'm not wrong. 

then we walked to the ferry terminal, pretty easy walk i think. and boarded the ferry.

so... i wasn't very impressed **lol**. i'm wondering how this can be called on of Japan's 3 great sights. my parents fell asleep on the cruise haha it was a 50 minutes cruise i think. but kinda boring.... maybe coz the weather was so gloomy?

at matsushima

the rain got a little heavier, and we duck into this place to roast our own kamabokoro (fish cake) for 200Y only, and chill haha. kinda windy so cold that day.

walked to matsushima kai-gan to take the train back to sendai station.

*lol* at this fashion.

i only need to clean when staying with parents *lol*.

this day was spent checking out the Tohoku Kizuna festival, and it was SOOOOO crowded.

for our last meal, we had saboten haha. it was good!!
