WE MANAGED TO ALL GET UP THE SCHOOL BUS AND WE HAPPEN TO SIT IN A ROW.

so my uni's school bus is shit **lol**. rly makes me appreciate nus'. one hour one bus, and the bus can only take exactly 23 ppl or smth like that. u can't stand on the bus, everyone needs to sit. so we always rush to take the bus. and it's rly rare for all 3 of us to make it. else we'd literally climb up the mountain. no joke.

so rakuten eagles regularly opens up a section of their seats for uni students, and we get to go watch at 1000Y with a free shirt! they'll email the details. so we did!

Yamagata [3 June 2017]

i regret the choice of footwear......

so anw headed to Yamagata with some new friends, slam and adam, who we call ojiisan. they're from america, and we rented a car.

so we drove to this place, paid a toll to go up but the weather was shit. and i was in those shoes. and the wind was crazy and it was raining so u can imagine how cold. i couldn't go out **lol**. there was a rest stop up there, and i just stayed inside.

my jacket has no hood.. and these guys were dressed like that to go out ok. hahahaha.i lent slam my jeans *lol* so she could go out.

this soba is over a hundred years old. it's really good and rly thick, and slightly al dente. real good texture. the menu only has soba, or soba and fish. *lol*.

u can see the black thing on a plate in the middle? it's some miso marinated fish. rly salty flavour, but i guess it's not bad.

then we drove around for really long looking for a place to pick cherries.

and we found one. actually not opened, coz the cherries not all ripe yet, but we just use our broken japanese and the guy allowed us hehehe. usually there's a time limit, like an hour and it costs >1000. the guy give us discount, only like... 500Y for unlimited time. coz v few trees were ripe. we prob only stayed like half an hour **LOL**.

but we went to many places and they were all closed/not open (yes, there is a difference b/w these two words in mathematics). so we were REALLY excited to find a place that will allow us to pick cherries. and it's really the reason why we went to Yamagata *lol*.

that's as red as they get tho. the cherries we get in Singapore, the really dark red ones? those are american cherries.

cherry picking really saved the gloomy day *lol*.

outfit for Naruko onsen field trip.

so we paid 4000Y to go on a field trip to the onsen, to learn about nature in the Tohoku area. so bus and accoms at a research facility provided. accoms were pretty shit *lol* a lot of insects, and quite old and dirty. but can just close eyes sleep one night. food was amazing tho.

so like we all didn't know each other **lol**. so many chinese on the trip tho... kinda weird.

SO THIS IS called Genghis Khan meal. idk why. anw those meat is lamb but it's not smelly, really tender and thinly sliced. amazing man. and free flow of beer.

so after this, we washed up and gathered in another room to talk and drink. quite interesting.

MY NEW LUNCHBOX. so i was contemplating to buy it or not, because i was looking at other lunch boxes on rakuten.. and i decided to just buy it because it satisfied what i wanted: the right size (700ml), chopstick holder, divider, 4 lock. so i bought it, only 500Y. and this lunchbox sold out after that. impossible to find it ever again. **LOL**. and i'm super pleased with it heheheheh
